I imagine better roads in and around downtown; just east of the heart of the city the potholes are horrendous. In addition, I'd like to see a continuous connection between Union Station's Gold Line and the Long Beach Blue Line.
I think that MTA needs to buy back the right of way to the old Pacific Red car lines. That connected many communities when Pacific Red cars were in service. Building a light rail system on these lines will bring many communities in San Gabriel Valley, Westside and southwest part of county. Faster and stress free commutes to any part of the county and even to Orange County border.
I would like to see a subway down Wilshire through Beverly Hills, under Century City to Westwood/UCLA to Ocean Ave. Also a Downtown Connector with a stop at Disney Hall that hill climb from the red line is brutal. The gold line to Ontario Airport. Green Light to Norwalk and out to the beach. An express Blue Line. A Red line that loops around Hollywood, Beverly Hills Wilshire and Western. Subway under Ventura Blvd. And Gold line connection from Pasadena to Eagle Rock, Glendale, Burbank, Airort, NoHo Redline station. And the Orange Line should have really been a light rail line.
